Dannmar is a proud member of ALI - Automotive Lift Institute

The reason people love Dannmar is because of our commitment to safety - it doesn't take much to realize what a potential hazard an automotive lift can be.

We make it our main goal to outdo the competition when it comes to safety. We take the extra step to get our equipment certified by a nationally recognized third party - we make sure every possible risk has been looked at; and exceeds national standards for automotive lifts of all kinds.

One may ask: what are some of the requirements to become certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI)?

It's a rigorous procedure - including:

  • Testing lifts far past their rated capacity (up to 150%)
  • Having hydraulic cylinders lower at a standardized rate (slow enough to be safe)
  • Having a designated employee who has passed numerous tests
  • Attending many workshops and classes related to ALI
  • And so much more...

  • Being certified, though difficult, was not a hard decision to make. For the safety of our customers, their loved ones, and their vehicles - the extra work and the price it takes to get our equipment just perfect does not hold a candle to safety benefits.

So, next time you're looking at a cheap Chinese cookie cutter lift; remember, you're putting a lot on the line. Buy a certified lift! If it's a lift type that's not eligible for certification - like the MaxJax: make sure the manufacturer is a member of ALI - like Dannmar. That way you know the company is looking out for your best interests.
